Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Data Analyst to support a leading FMCG client in the MENA region. This role sits at the intersection of data, CRM, and marketing, with a strong focus on turning data into actionable insights that drive consumer engagement, personalization, and business growth.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across media, CRM, content, and brand, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze large datasets across CRM, media, and digital platforms to uncover actionable insights
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key KPIs (acquisition, engagement, retention, conversion)
- Translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights for stakeholders
2. CRM & Consumer Analytics
- Support segmentation strategies (e.g., lifecycle, behavioral, RFM models)
- Analyze consumer journeys across channels such as WhatsApp, email, and web
- Identify opportunities for personalization and next-best-action strategies
3. Campaign Measurement & Optimization
- Measure performance of CRM and digital marketing campaigns
- Conduct A/B testing and provide recommendations for optimization
- Work with media teams to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI
4. Data Management & Integration
- Collaborate with data engineering and tech teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support integration of multiple data sources (CDP, CRM platforms, media platforms)
- Ensure proper data governance and adherence to privacy regulations
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with client stakeholders, brand teams, and internal agency teams
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner
- Support strategic initiatives such as loyalty programs and digital maturity projects
Background & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in FMCG, retail, or digital marketing environments
- Experience working in an agency setup or consulting environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, CRM, and marketing analytics
- Exposure to MENA markets is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Technical Skills & Tools
Core Tools
- SQL – strong proficiency in querying and data manipulation
- Excel / Google Sheets – advanced level (pivot tables, modeling)
Visualization & BI
- Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio – dashboard creation and storytelling
Programming
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R (for data analysis, automation)
Marketing & CRM Platforms (Good to Have)
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze, or similar
- CDPs (e.g., Segment, Tealium)
Media & Analytics
- Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads
- Understanding of attribution models and campaign tracking
