Solution Architect & Lead SE Engineer

EXPERIENCE: 12 – 18 YEARS

Position Summary

As a Solution Architect & Lead Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end technical design of AIQ’s AI video-analytics solutions spanning AI models, backend services, and infrastructure and lead engineering teams through delivery. You will also support presales and translate client requirements into robust, scalable solution proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end systems that integrate AI models, backend services, and infrastructure into production-grade solutions.
• Architect video-ingestion pipelines using RTSP, ONVIF, and other streaming protocols.
• Design cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) and edge architectures, including GPU infrastructure and edge-device planning.
• Define microservices and APIs (REST / gRPC) with high availability, scalability, and security built in.
• Lead the integration of AI models into enterprise systems.
• Support presales and client-facing engagements, producing solution proposals and architecture designs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code review across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12 – 18 years of software-engineering experience, including significant time in architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing scalable, secure, distributed systems.
• Strong background in cloud and edge architecture (AWS / Azure preferred) and GPU infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with streaming / video pipelines and microservice / API design.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and solution-proposal skills.
