Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a Data Scientist on AIQ’s computer-vision team, you will research, build, and refine the AI models that power our video-analytics platform. Working closely with ML engineers and annotators, you will take models from experimentation through to deployment-ready performance on real-world industrial video.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Develop and fine-tune computer-vision models for object detection, tracking, and segmentation using PyTorch \/ TensorFlow and OpenCV.<\/li>\n
  • Work hands-on with modern architectures including YOLO, RF-DETR, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs), fine-tuning them for AIQ use cases.<\/li>\n
  • Curate, preprocess, and augment image and video datasets, maintaining a tight feedback loop with the annotation team.<\/li>\n
  • Train, tune, and evaluate models against rigorous metrics (mAP, precision, recall) and iterate to meet accuracy targets.<\/li>\n
  • Track experiments and results using tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases.<\/li>\n
  • Apply model-optimisation techniques (TensorRT, ONNX) with real-world deployment constraints in mind.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • 3 \u2013 7 years of applied machine-learning experience, with a focus on computer vision.<\/li>\n
    • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and OpenCV.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated experience with detection, tracking, and segmentation models (e.g. YOLO, RF-DETR).<\/li>\n
    • Experience fine-tuning Vision-Language Models is an advantage.<\/li>\n
